My biggest deterrent in finding someone is a lack of common principles and interests. I'm both a Christian and a nerd and finding a girl that's both and not already taken is an insane task for an introvert.
Anyway, I'm looking for someone to get to know as a friend first and not just jump right into dating. I can be pretty picky so I don't want to get attached to someone that I clash with on some base level.
I've always liked the song "No Rain" by Blind Melon b/c I identify with the lyrics quite a bit, although I play video games more than I read these days.
