If I had one wish I would: abolish the arms-trade.
For fun I: jump the shark!
My ideal partner would be: a cat-adopting nature lover. She could be a renaissance chick able to draw, write, paint, sew and edit many a masterpiece in many a medium, preferably without too many prima-donna outbusts along the way. Very Happy Appreciative of the grand narrative, she could be afraid of nobody and intent on changing the world, one bit at a time. Shocked

Description
The world is made of stories not atoms
I am just a regular guy, shifting 1's and 0's from one inbox to another, playing the occasional game of table football, consuming far-too-many hot caffeinated beverages, politely participating in whatever witty banter there is and generally doing what I can to get along.
Is that it? Well, not really. I spend far too long thinking about the politics of peak oil, wondering why people like cars instead of bicycles and 'playing' with Free Open Source Software. (Current faves are Magento, Gallery2 and Wordpress.)
What makes me happy? On a day-to-day basis it has to be cycling. I almost prefer riding through rain, with headwinds or through the night, complete with a sprinkling of people in cars trying to kill me and a random puncture somewhere new. Without the struggle there isn't a proper workout and triumph over adversity thing.
I also enjoy the happiness that comes from opening doors for others, sharing knowledge and being kind.
